Napa Valley Stag's Leap District Merlot. Sourced from the Stag's leap district of Napa Valley, California. A sublime Merlot from Napa Valley, where ideal climate and soil conditions and refined growing and cellaring techniques, allow for consistent high quality treatment of grape varietals. This Merlot is dry and medium bodied with a soft, supple fruity palate of plums and red berries. Its characteristic spicy aroma, accentuated with light oak, leads to a rich, smooth and mouth-filling flavor experience.

A must try for Merlot lovers everywhere. Conditions at harvest were TA 5.9g/L, 23.5 Brix and pH of 3.44. Great served with beef dishes, poultry with rich sauces, lamb dishes, game birds, pasta with tomato sauces, hard firm cheeses, hearty stews and bean-based dishes. Sweetness = 0 (dry). Ships with premium French and American oak. AGING: Soft tannins allow enjoyment after three months. Ideal after six months to a year. Makes 6 US gallons.
