This 5 gallon French medium toast oak barrel is hand made from selected premium French oak from Central France by the cooperage of Tonnellerie Vernou. The staves are air-dried for 24 months. They are handcrafted by skilled French coopers in the traditional method. Sweet, toasted almond and carmel flavors are the result of air-dried oak toasted on open fires. No greenwood or aggressive oak overtones are created. Ships with a complete instruction sheet. This is a top of the line barrel.
