There is no filter to restrict any of the flavor exchange during the brewing process. The French press process is quick and easy. All you need is boiling water and four minutes of steep (brewing) time. After a quick stir of the grounds and a press of the plunger, you've got great tasting coffee.
1) Add course ground coffee grounds into press. Use 8 oz's of fresh ground coffee per 30 oz of water per pot or about 1.5 tablespoons ground coffee per 6 oz water.
2) Pour in the desired amount of boiling water (30 oz's per pot). Make sure water level does not exceed the top mark inside the press body. Stir floating grounds thoroughly
Let coffee steep for four minutes to allow for full flavor extraction
Lock on the plunger and press down slowly to filter the coffee
Pour and enjoy!
