I-Roast 2 Coffee Roaster. Add up to 1 cup of green coffee beans to the roasting pot, select your preset roasting profile or create own, press the roast button. Roasting will begin and then cool the beans at the end of the roast.
The I-Roasters work by directing a stream of hot air upward through the beans, both roasting and mixing them to provide an even roast. The airstream then carries the chaff away from the roasted bean and moves it into the collector surrounding the top neck of the roasting pot. The final minutes of the roasting cycle are a special cool down mode (roasting requires temperatures in the neighborhood of 450 deg F) which cools the beans and the roaster to a comfortable temperature.
* Roasting cycle is up to 15 minutes. There are programmable time and temperature settings for each of the 3 roasting stages. The I-Roast 2 memorizes up to 10 roasting curves. The memory is not lost when the unit is unplugged.
