Grown in the USA, Liberty is one of three hops bred from the famous Hallertau Mittlefruh in an attempt to duplicate it's noble character without its propensity for disease. Comes close to matching the characteristics of Hallertau Mittlefruh (the aroma hop used in Sam Adams Boston Lager). Aroma is described as spicy, mild and pleasant.
