2005 Sangiovese. 750 ml bottle. This wine was made from Central Valley California grapes. The grapes were cold soaked for one week prior to fermentation. After fermentation, the wine was barrel aged in French and American Oak barrels for one year. This wine has aromas of cherries and vanilla. The flavor shows fruit and a good acid balance. Tannins are subdued. Finish is long with cherry and vanilla. Medium body. Dry.
