Carb tabs are a convenient form of dextrose, Muntons dry malt and a heading powder (propylene glycol alginate). Each tablet contains about 510 mg of priming sugars.

Use two carb tabs per 12 oz bottle for a low level of carbonation (ala British ales). Use three carb tabs for a modererate level of carbonation. Four tablets for regular carbonation and five for a high level of co2. One bag of 250 tablets will prime 5-6 gallons of beer.
