A medium bodied German pilsner with a little light crystal malt for color and head retention. German bittering, flavoring and aroma hops impart a spicy floral hop character. Very similar to Samuel Adams Boston Lager. Kits include malt syrup and/or dry malt, steeping grains, steeping sock, pellet hops, dry yeast, priming sugar irish moss and instructions. They require a 35-45 minute boil. If you desire to use liquid yeast we recommend Wyeast #2124 or #2206
