High degree of roast flavor from non-malted black barley and roasted barley. Northern hops provide a nice degree of bitterness and flaked barley add to the mouthfeel body. Similar to Guiness Stout. Kits include malt syrup and/or dry malt, steeping grains, steeping sock, pellet hops, dry yeast, priming sugar irish moss and instructions. They require a 35-45 minute boil. If you desire to use liquid yeast we recommend Wyeast #1084 for authenticity.
